Activity Trail Training

There are 10 stops on the Christmas activity trail. With the entry ticket to come to Santa’s wonderland, Every Child receives a free activity trail showbag to build their selves along the Christmas activity trail.

Inside the showbag they receive a map and a passport. Families can complete the activity trail in random order and at their own pace through out the 3 hours session.

You will have a stamp at your station with your activity stop number on it. It is important that you stamp each child’s passport when they have arrived at your stop and completed the activity.

You can issue the children with their free gift but it is important that they only receive one per child. Please do not give out multiple items to families, only one item per child is permitted.

STOP 01: Little Picasso Art Play Activity

Little Picaso Christmas play is a painting station and is popular with the children that are more sensitive and want some time out to relax and paint or colour in their favourite Christmas characters.

Your responsibility:

Make sure that the paper rolls are full and ready to use.
The etsals are clean and brushes are clean and in water.
Paints are full and available
Paper plates are available
Rubbish is empty.
Greet the patrons, stamp their passports.
You can give them a paper plate with a squeeze of each paint colour. Or a colouring sheet and crayons. Direct them to a chair to play and paint.

STOP 02: Write a Letter to Santa and post in Santa’s Mail Box.

Write a Letter to Santa station is a space that children can write their wish list letters to Santa’s and mail them into Santa’s mail box. A pre-printed Santa’s wonderland letter is given to every Child and then they can sit down on the table a chair and write out their letters.

Your responsibility

Greet patrons, stamp their passports, give them a letter and make sure there are plenty of textures on the tables. Direct the patrons to a table. Show them where the letter box is to post their letter to Santa.

STOP 03: Santa’s Sleigh With FREE selfie prop.

Santa’s sleigh is a photo opportunity that the families can sit inside Santa’s sleigh and get a family photo. You also receive a free Christmas selfie prop to use in the photo or to take home.
You can assist the families into the sleigh and take photos for them and you can hand out the selfie props to the children. Please note that it is 1 selfie prop per child only!

Your responsibility

Greet patrons, stamp passport, assist families into the sleigh, take a photo for them. Give the kids selfie props for the photo.

STOP 04: Bauble Zone with FREE personalised Christmas Bauble.

Bauble Zone is an activity that every child receives a free take home bauble to decorate to hang in their Christmas tree. The bauble can be coloured in at the station or added to the activity trail bag to take home. Colouring texteres should be changed regularly and discarded.

Your responsibility

Greet patrons, stamp passports, give them bauble to decorate, 1 per child. They can sit to colour at the tables or they can take home. Give an early learning book as a free gift.

STOP 05: Fruchos Spin to Win!

Spin to win is a chocolate wheel that has been sponsored by our partners fruchocs. Patrons get to spin the wheel and collect their prize. 1 x fruchoc, 1 game play voucher or a wonder buddy toy.

Greet patrons, stamp passports, let patrons spin the wheel. Collect their prize.

STOP 06: Magic Reindeer Food Stables with FREE Reindeer food.

Magic Reindeer Food Stables is an activity where the children come inside the reindeer stables and collect magic reindeer food to leave out for the reindeers on Christmas eve. Every child receives a free Santa’s wonderland paper bag to scoop the reindeer food into and seal up to take home.

Your responsibility

Greet patrons, stamp passports, give paper bag, direct families to collect magic reindeer food. Make sure food buckets are full and the scoops are available.

STOP 07: Christmas Story Telling with Mrs Christmas and FREE Christmas Card.

Christmas Story Telling with Mrs Christmas is an activity that the children can meet Mrs Claus and listen to Christmas stories. The Activity trail attendant will also handout a free Christmas card to take home and add the activity trail show bag.

Your responsibility

Greet patrons, stamp passports, give Xmas card. If Mrs Claus is with children then let the next family know that she won’t be a moment and that she will be available for Christmas wishes and a Christmas story shortly.

STOP 08: Candy Cane & Gingerbread Man Family Selfie Zone collect a FREE Candy Cane.

Candy Cane & Gingerbread Man Family Selfie Zone is a selfie stop that families can take a family photo in the interactive set. Gingerbread man families and candy land colourful props form the background for the photo stop. Patrons also receive a free candy cane to enjoy or take home.

Your responsibility

Greet patrons, stamp passports, direct families for a photo, assist with taking photos, give 1 candy cane per person.

STOP 09: Interactive Colouring Zone.

Draw alive is an interactive colouring activity where the children select one of the winter themed character templates and then colour in at the table stations. The drawing is then scanned into the scanning box and the child’s character with their name appears on the winter cartoon on the screen.

Your responsibility

Greet patrons, stamp passports, show children the colouring templates and direct them to colours in and write their name. When their drawing in completed they can bring to the attendant and she will scan into the cartoon screen.

STOP 10: Ice Wonderland Snow Queen Family Selfie Zone.

Ice Wonderland Snow Queen is a meet and greet photo opportunity. Children can meet the Snow queen and sit in her sleigh.

Your Responsibility

Greet patrons, stamp passports, give a Santa milk. Assist children into the snow queen sleigh for a photo. Assist with taking a photo.
