The CANDYLAND Maze is suitable for children aged 2 and up. Adults may accompany children, and families can go through the maze together.

Before Opening

Check that the maze and its entry and exit points are clear and safe. Look for trip hazards or damage, remove any hazards, and know how to contact a manager or event control if there is an issue.

Managing Groups

Families may walk through together. Leave a *five-second gap between each group* entering the maze to reduce congestion.

Explain these Safety Rules before Entry

1. No running—walk at all times. Running can cause people to collide at speed and get hurt.
2. Stay in the one direction and follow the maze route. Do not turn back or move against the flow, as this can cause collisions.
3. Stay together as a family group and follow staff instructions.
4. Do not push, climb on, or damage the maze structure.

You could say: “Please walk at all times and keep moving in the one direction. Running or going against the flow can cause collisions and injuries. Stay together as a family and follow the path.”

Supervision and Safety

Monitor the entrance, exit, and maze activity as much as possible. Remind patrons to walk and keep to the one direction. Pause entry if the maze becomes crowded or unsafe.

Report incidents and accidents to event control. Escalate medical incidents to first aid immediately, and report suspicious, aggressive, or threatening behaviour. Know the locations of fire extinguishers and other safety equipment.
