*Managing Play Cycles*
As the day begins and patrons arrive, count the number of children to ensure compliance with the maximum capacities outlined above.
Ask children to remove their shoes and leave with their parents!
—
*Communicating Rules*
Once a group of patrons has gathered, kindly explain the rules for using the jumping castles, ball crawl, and maze. It’s best to kneel to be at eye level with the children to enhance engagement. Start by saying, “Hi kiddos, we’re just going to go over the rules!”

*Rules for Jumping Castles and Ball Crawl*
1. Only one person is allowed to go down the slide at a time.
2. Ensure no one is at the bottom of the slide so you don’t not collide.
3. No climbing up the slide; children must use the steps.
4. Children must sit on their bottoms when sliding down.
5. PLEASE NOTE: Jumping from the slide is not permitted!
6. Socks are preferred for safety reasons.
After explaining the rules, allow a maximum of 8 children per castle and 15 in the ball crawl (with age groups separated).
*Rules for the Candyland Maze*

*Supervision and Time Management*
Position yourself in a location where you can clearly see all children playing and ensure compliance with the established rules. If you notice any rule violations, kindly remind the children about the importance of following the rules.
Children can play for approximately 3-5 minutes before you call out “TIME’S UP!” At this point, assist the children off the castle and reunite with their parents, you can prepare for the next group of patrons.
—
*Emergency Evacuation Procedures*
In the event of a power outage, the jumping castles will begin to deflate. You must:
1. Get all children off the jumping castles immediately and move them to the front of the castle until power is restored.
2. For the ball crawl, push the front walls up to prevent balls from spilling into walkways.
3. Reunite children with their parents, then call for a manager to restore power.
Please note that you need to conduct a pre-operation check before commencing the next play cycle with patrons. Ensure all plastic matting is in place and that the castle is ready for use.

Report all incidents and accidents to event control and escalate any medical incidents to first aid immediately. Always report suspicious, aggressive, or threatening behavior.
